Five Holiday Lights Experiences in the Milwaukee Area

Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival

The Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival runs November 21st through January 1st at locations throughout downtown Milwaukee. The kickoff extravaganza happens on November 21st at Pere Marquette Park and features live music, dance performances, lighting of more than a half million lights throughout downtown, and fireworks. Through January 1st, attendees can check out light displays at Pere Marquette Park and Cathedral Square Park, check out the Ornament Trail art installation, take a ride on the Jingle Bus, ice-skate at Red Arrow Park, and much more. SnowGlobe Holiday Festival (Powered by Enchant)

The Enchant holiday lights experience comes back to Ballpark Commons in Franklin this year. SnowGlobe Holiday Festival powered by Enchant runs November 22nd through December 30th and features a holiday light maze, a Christmas village, an ice-skating trail, live entertainment, appearances from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and more. General admission tickets start at $30.

 

Wild Lights - Milwaukee County Zoo

Wild Lights at the Milwaukee County Zoo runs November 30th through December 31st (closed 12/2, 12/9, 12/16, 12/24, and 12/25). During the event, the zoo transforms into an illuminated destination with hundreds of thousands of sparking lights and decorated displays. Tickets start at $18 for adults and $16 for children ages 3 - 12.

 

Country Christmas

Country Christmas at the Ingleside Hotel in Pewaukee runs from November 15th through January 1st. The event features a walk and drive-through holiday lights experience that is over 1 mile long and highlighted by a 200-foot tunnel of 30,000 computerized lights. The Christmas Village has food, beverages, a train display, and a village collection. The Streets of Bethlehem features a nearly life-sized nativity scene. Tickets for the walk-through experience start at $8. Tickets for the drive-through experience start at $25-$35 depending on the day.

 

Christmas Carnival of Lights

Christmas Carnival of Lights runs November 23rd through December 31st at Jellystone Park in Caledonia. The event features a 1.6-mile drive-through light display with over 2 million lights, ice-skating, Santa’s Workshop with food, beverages, visits from Santa, and more. Tickets for a standard-sized vehicle with up to 8 passengers start at $20.
